Thursday, August 20, 2009 2009-2010 National Team Member Jordyn was unable to defend her national title last week in Dallas, TX due to a hamstring injury. However, Jordyn was successfully petitioned 2009-2010 National Team and once her hamstring has healed she will be able to attend the National Team Training Camps and earn international assignments. Congratulations Jordyn!
Wednesday, July 15, 2009 Scratching US Classic Due to a minor injury Jordyn has opted not to compete in the US Classic next weekend due to a minor injury. She is already qualified for the US National Championships in the middle of August in Dallas, TX and this will serve as her next competition.

Saturday, March 7, 2009 Gymnix Junior Cup Champion This afternoon Jordyn won vault finals with a 15.125, bars with a 14.375, beam with a 14.725, and Floor with a 14.700! Congrats Jordyn on a succesful competition! Also congrats to fellow US teammate Sabrina Vega for earning silver on bars, beam, and floor as well as Kamerin Moore for winning a bronze on vault.
Friday, March 6, 2009 Gymnix Junior Cup Champion This evening Jordyn competed in the Junior Cup portion of the Gymnix International competition earning 1st on vault, bars, beam, and the all-around! The United States team also earned a gold medal with Sabrina Vega and Kamerin Moore rounding out the AA medal stand earning silver and bronze respectively. Jordyn has qualified to all four event finals and will compete tomorrow afternoon at 11:55.
Saturday, February 21, 2009 American Cup Champion Jordyn became the 2009 American Cup Champion this afternoon in Chicago, IL. She started the competition with a yurchenko 2 ½ twist on vault and scored a 15.650 despite an awkward landing. Next Jordyn moved to bars where she hit her tkachev and stuck her double twisting double layout for a 14.800 and tying for first place on the event. She then moved to balance beam where she connected her front aerial through to one arm bhs to back layout step out, she had a small balance check on her aerial cartwheel and full twisting back tuck, but landed her double pike dismount for a 15.000 and first place. Jordyn finished on floor where she hit her full twisting double back, back layout 2 ½ to punch front layout, and stuck her double pike for a 14.650. Her AA of 60.200 put her in first place. Congrats Jordyn an a wonderful competition!
Thursday, February 19, 2009 American Cup TV Information Jordyn and Bridget Sloan will be competing in the American Cup this Saturday at 2:30pm EST. Universal Sports will be broadcasting the first 1/2 of the competition live, from 2:30-4:00pm EST. NBC Sports will then take over the broadcast from 4:00-6:00pm EST. Please check your local listing to ensure that you do not miss any of the event.

Saturday, January 10, 2009 Battle of the Champions Gold Medalist This past weekend Jordyn competed in the Battle of the Champions in Florida where she earned a gold medal on bars, beam, floor, and the all-around! Jordyn scored a 9.800 on all four events and a 39.200 in the all-around.

Saturday, January 10, 2009 American Cup Competitor Jordyn will be competing in the 2009 American Cup competition which will be held on February 20th-21st in Chicago, IL. Jordyn will be joining 2008 US Olympian, Bridget Sloan. The United States will be naming two additional athletes to their squad and many international athletes are also expected to participate. The finals portion of the competition will be broadcasted LIVE by NBC Sports on February 21st at 3:00 CT. For ticket information and more please visit USA Gymnastics.
